San Jose / San Francisco
I recently spent a week in the Bay Area for work, and took a couple days for fun as well. As soon as I found a camera shop I grabbed the new Sigma 16-300mm lens to try out as an all-in-one travel lens, and I think it delivers. I also brought the Canon P and put a few more rolls of film through it.
Fuji X-T50 - Downtown San Jose and San Francisco
Right now just shooting buildings is my favorite thing, especially when I can find dramatic shadows/lighting, or in this case fun layers with all the uniquely shaped buildings. San Francisco has an amazing collection of tall buildings.
Lucky SHD 100 - Chinatown
Starting off the film with an afternoon wandering around Chinatown.
CineStill 400D - Oakland Bay Bridge, Embarcadero, Fisherman’s Wharf
Here is the results of my trek from Rincon park, where the Oakland bridge starts, heading towards the Golden Gate bridge.
Kodak Ultramax 400 - Fort Mason, Crissy Field, Golden Gate Bridge
Because it was such an overcast morning, I decided to get another 400 ISO film roll, but these film shops by the bay are all scammers and charged $17 for Ultramax (and wanted $800 for a Canon F-1 body). Naturally, as soon as I loaded the film the weather was bright and sunny.
Fujifilm 200 - Chinatown, Alemany Flea Market
Finishing off the weekend, I went back to Chinatown to get a few color shots and spent my last morning at a great flea market.
