I recently spent a week in the Bay Area for work, and took a couple days for fun as well. As soon as I found a camera shop I grabbed the new Sigma 16-300mm lens to try out as an all-in-one travel lens, and I think it delivers. I also brought the Canon P and put a few more rolls of film through it.

I spend a lot of weekends in Forth Worth, so I decided to do another Sunday morning photowalk with my Canon EOS Elan 7NE.

I’m going to keep a running comparison of some of the film stock I shoot, mostly for my own reference, but I figure it would be interesting.

I migrated everythigng over to the mini PC and now I’m reworking the whole workflow for creating and publishing posts.

I just got back from work and a little vacation in the Seattle area. I took my Canon R10 but ended up grabbing a used Canon 5D Mark IV from a camera shop there, and couldn’t put it down!

For 2025 I’ve decided to make a reading list for myself, with a resolution to read a book a month. I used to get through a decent amount each year, but without much of a commute to work I haven’t had as much time to listen to audiobooks. Paired with a bad habit of doomscrolling or watching endless TikTok videos before bed, reading has pretty much fallen to the wayside. I’m going to kickstart a new habit and change up my routines this year.
